Just one thing after another:
After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in journalism, Ms. Allen worked in a variety of modestly compensated, mildly interesting jobs -- copy editor at a cattle magazine in Texas, PR manager at a college in Florida, communications specialist for an international corporation.
Now a freelance writer in Virginia, Ms. Allen plugs away in many areas -- fiction, blogging, newspaper pieces. Her feature articles have appeared in the Loudoun Times-Mirror and the Clarke Times-Courier.
Ms. Allen is currently hard at work revising her first novel, a rather abnormal paranormal story. She is also toiling away at the third book in "The End of Gath" series. Ms. Allen does all her own stunts.
